GaG is now officially a work in progress!
MAR 20, 2025
Dear Reader,
I have put actual words on paper! Okay, not on actual paper. Digital paper, because as anyone who knows me can tell you I’m not a huge fan of things made out of actual paper. Paper accumulates in large piles and has to be stored and then moved and stored again. Besides, it makes me sneeze.
I do realize that’s an odd thing for an author to say. At one point I rid myself of all physical books because, well, see the sneezing comment. Then they started making special edition books with pretty covers, and, well…here we are.

So now I’m collecting books I’ve read that make me happy that also have pretty covers. I can get behind that kind of paper. But not the kind that requires me to own a pen and actually write on it. For that, I need a keyboard, and a screen. Except for my planner. Ms. Edwina insists we track our word count and goals in a pretty dot-grid planner. To make that tolerable I decorate the heck out of it, which makes it a craft project, not, you know, paper.
There was a point here somewhere…ah yes. Words! The next Melinda VanLone story is officially on its way to you. You know, after it’s written and edited and formatted, and…well you get the idea.
Until next time,

GaG — Current Word Count: 1,299. Favorite Line of the Week: Ashwagandha Dreaming Moonstone Wardwell hated Friday nights.
Ms. Edwina and I tried out a new restaurant: The Little Hen. By the name you might think this is a fast food chicken sandwich place but it’s not. It’s a delightful breakfast/brunch all things tea and scones place. It’s a Ladies Who Lunch place, with pretty flowery plates and tea pots and flowers everywhere. We absolutely adored it, and it’s within walking distance. Yay!
